Starting out at the turn of the millennium, Zimer learned the art of graffiti on the underground walls of Queens, New York. As an adolescent, he mastered his craft by spending every available moment painting or studying countless international artists at 5pointz aerosol museum. After developing his personal aesthetic, he increasingly adopted fine art principles into his paintings with frequent visits to the Met. Eventually the mix of street and fine art are intertwined to the point where his art transcends any typology. Yearning to stretch his creative mind to the maximum, he enrolled in architecture school, earning aB.Arch. from New York Institute of Technology.
